Default Emissions in VA

Well I'm going to get emissions done tomorrow!

I called ahead to the place I'm going and he said that cars 96 and newer do the OBDII test which doesn't include the tail pipe test. The exception to that is that the computer they use to do each one will randomlly select 1 out of 100 to do the tail pipe test. If I would have known that, I'd have gotten a bigger cam initially. Now I'm thinking of something in the 228/230ish range. We'll see how it goes first. Wish me luck!

I passed with a Thunder Racing TR224 114 cam! I could have had the most outragious cam I wanted though. He did check for EGR, AIR, and cats though. Glad I kept them in. Now it's cam shopping time I'm really really glad all they're doing is checking for thrown codes now.
