yhea, its a sweet boat. yup, 496.
it topped out at 68 on gps with 4 people, full tank, full cooler, 2 anchors, full gear. speedo reads about 70-72 tho.

the Baja is the florida boat, he has a 05 26 checkmate at his lake house in NH, thats about 500 pounds lighter then the baja, same motor, step hull, that does about 70 gps with all the gear ect, then his 36 Tiara with twins, that chills at about 32 knots. lol, but it weighs in at 23,000 pounds!!!
thats the boat here at home.

he has one of everything. lol

Is your old man up on Winni? I was worried about those god damn speed limit laws this year. But looks like we're in the clear for now...

My rents have a house on Sunapee. But I'm usually on Winni with my Sea Doo or friends rigs.

I want to buy a 29-36' rig. Either a 29' Outlaw with twins, or maybe an older 36' Apache Warrior.

29' Outlaw is cheaper, but they are a ******* awesome boat.

36' Warrior is looking like a dream right now. 100k to find a half decent one.

I wish my old man had the setup like yours. I'll race that Tiara, with the '57 Chris Craft! Puttin' the hammer down!

Seasons coming, you got me all pumped up now.

yhea, he is on winni. and if the speed limit went threw, i can garenty both myself and my old man would get many many speeding tickets!!!

my old man wanted the 29, but because he is only in fla for a short time, he didnt want to have 2 motors to worry about. he goes for 2-3 weeks a month, but do to the **** weather, every time he leaves fla to come here, he flushes the motors, fogs them ect ect ect, and it take like 3-4 hours for one, and he didnt want to deal with 2, so he got the biggest boat with a single screw, and the biggest motor. lol

are old 97 272 baja was a great boat, so he went with a new one, and it has been great so far. the checkmate was cheeper, but its still a great boat. again, he is there for 2-3 days a week, he didnt want a huge hassle, just jump on it and go.

the tiara is the big boat, and that is mainly my responsibility so he doesnt mind having twins and a generator and heat/cool units ect ect because i do the winterizing. lol
