sweet thread...a cammed car is nothing nowadays and sure isnt something to look out for...hell my car is slow compared to a majority of the cars in this section of the board. Unless its a 99z with a lumpy idle with a 200 shot or a procharger/turbo I really wouldnt be calling anyone out unless you want to get your *** handed to you. Good luck though as there are some nasty cars in the NJ area, im sure you can find a race.

I'm with ya, my new combo is nothing earth shattering these days but I've been in hibernation for so long that I wasn't quite sure who was still around.

so what does the rest of the car consist of? That motor don't mean **** if it's in a car that has zero traction and doesn't leave right. Can't fire a cannon from a canoe.

I put some cash there too but there's no intention to be a race car, I have friends for that.

Moser 12 bolt, BMR chromoley tubular adjustable everything, Bilsteins, SLP/Eibachs, Spec IIIF, adj master, SLP billet flywheel, fully built T56. The idea is to have something quick enough to drag race but AutoX too.

Damn man I stand corrected, sounds like a nice combo you have going there! You going to spray on that bad boy or what? I can only imagine what a forged 395 ci ls1 with a 200 shot would put down, youd be looking at near 700 rwhp depending on how radical your cam is. My original post wasnt trying to belittle you either, it was more to get your combo out of ya haha. How much HP you looking at NA and whats the compression?

Yeah, it's all good...I'm having the final tune done Wed morning. If all goes well should be high 400's low 500's. Compression is 11.3:1, intake isn't ported. Cam is small for now but do plan to upgrade and have Mamo port the intake when I get the itch, gives me something to look forward to.

Having my F2 solenoids rebuilt and will tweak the TNT ring to fit the NW throttle body.

Why don't you consider making the trip up to New England Dragway in early Oct. for Camaro-Firebird day w/your car? Talk the talk? BRING IT!. my little stock internal 346 on spray vs your built up motor'd car on spray. we have a couple good spots to run up here.

northeast philly, maybe next weekend (car will be back from the trans shop monday).

i'll be in touch. maybe we can video it! no excuses either run what ya brung. i love being the "underdog" to a "700rwhp" car because if i loose- then it is expected and we had fun. BUT when YOU get YOUR *** CRACKED then everybody says "what the ****- that doesn't make sense" .

1/4 mile, from a dig (stoplight). no highway bullshit.

I've run plenty of times in Philly with the old combo, always a good time. Not sure where I said I'd be 700hp but ok...would be happy in the high 400's/low 500's (spray to come in the future). I'll be up there soon enough and with Adam and his notch.

Nice yea I cant imagine you not hitting 500 rwhp with that compression unless you have a fairly tame cam in there. What are the specs? Also how much you looking to spray? A nice 200 shot would put you in 700 rwhp range, which would be insane.

your motor to my spray- 200$ this weekend

THAT is how you call somebody out. i have nothing to hide, you know what my car runs, you know what you THINK your car should run . put your $ where your big mouth is. i DID actually dyno only 430- so if you are expecting high 4's or 500 then seems like a fair run.

So you're implying that I think a N20'd 346 wouldn't give a mild stroker car a run for the money? I've been around long enough and seen enough Termin8R vids to know that combo can run, for Christ sakes I used to own that combo.

And you're assumption is a bit out of whack if you think I'm gonna lock a race for cash without first going to the track and test the new combo

Regardless how fast my car may be I just may never give you "your race" because of your attitude alone. It's a shame too because my pockets can go alot deeper than a measly $200. Just think of what you could have had

i'll give your 12 bolt, RACE MOTOR car the break. which is pretty much making it YOUR race compared to my little stock 346 with a shot on it.

or better yet post up calling the local people out AFTER your car is tested and tuned.

oh well- good luck autocrossing.

see you around
