Pretty much says that a vortech head unit is a better deal. I think, that if you could swap a vortech head unit and a procharger head unit onto the same car with the same intercooler etc etc ( just have a bracket that would allow for the swap) that you'd make more power with the vortech, always have thought this. The problem with the vortech setups is the intercooler system that they have, they need to be much larger and with alot less flow restriction, if they changed their kits aorund a little, they could probably come up with a much better system.

Look at the YSI kit that speed inc makes, I bet if you swapped a procharger head unit with that kit, you wouldn't make as much power, why do you think speed inc. chose the YSI head unit over a procharger? When they were designing that setup, either could have been used I'm sure, but they went with the vortech... must be a good reason.
