Engine cleaning\stripping shop in CT?
Engine cleaning\stripping shop in CT? I have a shortblock that I have had outside with rust,grime and all sorts of crap on it. Anybody know of any places in CT that I can bring it to get it all cleaned up? Some place that they just drop it in some vat of chemicals and it strips it clean or something.

id make my own rig....like buy a kiddy pool and put some cleaning chemicals in it then just put the block in there and start cleaning it....use a plastic bristle brush...you never know it could work 
...as long as the chemicals dont eat the metal like simple green, well actually i hear that corrodes aluminum...use regular engine degreaser....
