it's not leaving right yet.. the front tires didn't hang in the air LOL. It needs to hook better, and keep the nose up in the air a little longer before letting it settle back down. Once it starts leaving the way it should, it's gonna run alot better, I've already made some changes to the car to try to get it leaving better, and it's missing another 70 lbs now too. I'm hoping to get to a rental at lvd on the 27th this month to do some more suspension work to try to get it hooking better and leave better.

As long as I can find another set of welded r/t rims over the winter so I can put a et of radials on one set to drive on the street with (so I get no hassle at dot stops or any of that) I'm gonna put a set of 28x10.5 et drags on this set, and screw them to the rim.. I'm guessing that will make a world of difference.. but that's next year. I still think there's more I can get out of it as it sits, we'll find out on the 27th.

got to be done man.... imagine going down the track, with a setup like mine say after I put the bottle in it, spraying a 150 hit out of the hole... grabbing 2nd gear and having one tire spin on the rim and the other not... car takes a hard right/left turn..... not good.

Screwed rims also comonly leak air, another reason why I didn't do the set that's on the car now... no need to have a tire start going down sitting in a car show lot because the tires' screwed to the rim.

All in good time... a little more tweaking, and some more seat time should do it I think.

Nice run timmy, your car's coming along too!
