After driving 6 speed, I really notice how the power shocks the car. When Ron gets hard on his car I swear the tranny mount is gonna break and rip the center consol in half

that's called it needs a poly tranny mount LOL. The TQ arm being attached to the tranny doesn't help that either.... BMR sells a nice crossmember that fixes that problem. no more tq arm shock going to the tranny mount.. another thing that GM should have just done at the factory.

My stock 10 bolt didnt make a sound, and my car was launched off the rev limiter on ET streets and skinnies, as well as drag radials (at a lower rpm). I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE how noisy it is. If you arent doing crazy mods there isnt really a need for one.

noise LOL... that makes it sound better. your exhaust should be drowning that out anyway.. and if it's not then you need a louder exhaust LOL

Moser used to include this on their site and I stuff at home which states that the Pro Street gears are noisier then stock due to the content of nickle in the gear for added strength.

My Moser made noise, I only noticed it becuase the rear seats were out. I would much rather have a little noise, then breaking at the track.

Aaron, congrats bro! You will happy. I wanted a black LS1 T/A and ended up getting my Z instead 5 years ago... I was younger and too eager to get into a 6 speed V8 car. In retrospect I should have waited an extra year so I could afford the LS1. Oh well, now I have a turbo LT1 thats going together... should be quick enough.

my moser was not loud at all till i did the spool.

if you take it apart and put it back together doing back lash yourself, you can get rid of alot of the noise.

12 bolt, ls7 clutch/flywheel, headers/y pipe with stock cat back, maybe a cam, and a 125 dry shot with a mild tune and that car would be an 11 second daily dricer that would never ever break!

I havent decided on clutch, Ron has a Spec 3, makes 420 rwhp cam and bolt ons and works mint. When I do a gear swap it will be reset by Jennetty Racing, I want stainless steel headers, no more ceramic coating crap, The Corsa will go on with high flow cats so its not too loud. As for the cam im not sure its gouing to be 22X or 23X duration, decent lift and 112 LSA. Maybe Heads, but I still want a ws.6 hood.

I got plans, mostly which just to drive.

the ls7 clutch with a spacer would be the best setup!
i put one in my buddies car, and it is alot nicer for the street then the spec, and holds just as good.

no chatter at all. very very smooth.

but either way, drive it, and enjoy!
