Default Inspection time!

So my Inspection is due this month. Im going in like two weeks so I can wait for my next paycheck because I am pretty poor right now after getting that Torque converter in and I have a feeling I'll need new tires at least. (poor planning I know) So as far as emissions go.. I have Longtubes, mini cats welded in the ORY and then catback.. I also have all the emissions hooked up and what not. Last year I didnt have the cats and I failed until I had someone kinda take care of it for me (you know what I mean) So this year I want to be legit. Think I'll pass? And what other things should I do to prep for it? I know Oil change. any other tips?

If you dont pass, go to Autozone and buy the "Guarranteed to Pass" bottle. Its like 8 dollars. You will pass the second time. (assuming sniffer)

Ill sell you some nice 16" 5 stars if you want to buy tires for those..

Just go buy rubbing alcohol, its the same stuff, just worry about the visual becuase the CAT will not be in the same place as factory, which is a automatic fail. I had a place that didnt care on visual, but i put a cat toward the rear of the car and it passed the sniffer, 383/hotcam and a overly rich PCMforless tune.

GLad the TQ converter is running good, i told yea I sell good stuff. Now I gotta my my transmission

THe visual is no problem at all.. its just the sniffer.. PA bastards have it hooked up online when they do it so it goes right to the state as it happens.. no time for trial and error.

What did you say about your transmission?

So how much rubbing alcohol is needed to pass? My 95' TA is due in the spring time for the sniffer test.

On my Lt1, I used to go with like 1/2 to 1/4 tank, One bottle You can go to a store, I think its 1 liter. If you have more in tank, do 2.

Also you can do other things to help like clean plugs, freshened air and PCV filter, oil change, make sure the car is up to temp, regular thermo like a 180 degree. Beat the **** out of the car before its tested to make sure the cat is nice and hot, hot = better able to burn out Hydro carbons
