Default Clear lid

Does anyone still make these...with a good build quality. Wern't there ones floating around a while ago that would crack ect?

Anyone have some info, or a used one for sale?

Last I knew, MTI was still making them. I have one, they are kind of a pain in the ***. They scratch easy, I always have to cover mine when working under the hood so it doesn't get damaged. Fits good though, slight stress cracks around the tabs but that's do to the way my power ring set up fits (almost no bellow between the maf and ring so the lid get's stressed more).

MTI sells them but everyone says good luck actually getting it, they're always on back order

i got the MTI, never had a problem with it cracking or scratching (i'm just careful to not put tools on it or anything.

i have heard however, that if you have the raised WS6 lower airbox, you are more likely to have problems with cracking. my firehawk has the regular lower airbox.

I had the TSP and it had some scratches on it when new. I found an SLP in a junk yard for 10 bucks and I sold my TSP for the same thing I paid for it 2+ years later. I don't think TSP is making those anymore. I believe it is just MTI at this point.

ill se if i can get a pic of mine it has a green filter aand i think it looks pretty sweet. the thing that really annoys me is when i go to the carshow and there is always someone who comes over and asks if i got he lid to see if my filter is dirty, drives me nut after a while
