Default project idea

LSX Chevelle Wagon
i got this idea in my head that it would be kool to build a chevelle wagon with LSX power kinda like a pro touring type thing, i got the urge for a new car but i dont want to spend the crazy money for a new one i think i could build a really nice cruiser for about 20k, and it would be different that what everyone else is doing what are your opinions
here is a pic of what i want to put the lsx stuff in

You can stuff a lot of bottle's in the back of that thing

I think it would be pretty cool, that is if you already own that vehicle.

Aside from Ted Jannetty's 70 Chevelle Wagon with the 502/Blower combo, this will be a very unique project because its going to be LSX powered, the question is how many cubes would this be? 346, 383, 396, 402?? So many options, so little time. Good luck on the project. I think a nice 4L80e, or something stout to handle the power!

Nice project idea.... alot of potential, think of the room you have under that hood!

I'm not really into the whole wagon thing, but when done correctly they can be very nice, and you'd definately have a one off car that is for sure.

its just a idea at this point, especially since i dont have the $$ to get it done and i want to have ken build me a nice 402 in the spring and that should be all for the ws6,
but the wagon with a lsx and some nice suspension and a killer wheel and tire combo i think would be kool if i could find a nice car to start with

'64-65 Chevelle wagon--if you could find a 2dr. -- all the better. The suspension, mounting components, and wiring harness stuff already available for the early A body cars getting LSX transplants. They make nice, nice hot rods and there are a few of them out there already. Early Chevelles are great cars and relatively light, as well..... WJ

Lot of work. Lot of cash too, if you don't already have the car to do it to.
