Thumbs up winter plans for the cars???

im planning on taking my car down a notch, and running the 9.5 class at NED, try to have a little fun with the car again instead of kickin my *** around chaising a fastest time records ect ect.
time for fun stuff.

i think i may even put exhaust on the car and throw it back on the road for some car shows and street racing. we'll see.

Threw the SLP flow pack on her, maybe a Dynatech Super MAXX system, WS.6 Hood, and get 17" Polished aluminum rims on her. If I get crazy ill get the Moser 12 bolt, Corsa, and BMR stuff on too. I gotta call Moser about converting the rear to a setup that retains the TCS

Vengeance Racing makes a nice ported fast. I'll probably go that route myself.

I may be out with the 68FB this year it will be TTLSX with a 6speed I was thinking about running 10.5 with it though. make it easy and less complicated/fragile. It's going to be a heavy car though I don't want to remove every thing to race, it will have AC and a stero system.

I wanted to put in a th400 with a lock but I love shifting.

6 pt goes in first week of february, seats and all that stuff too, gotta get that painted, get the LW carpet layed in the car, rear 1/4 that the mapint is messed on is getting fixed, not too much else, some tires for the car, put a hitch on my truck so I can get to towing it to the track now, maybe towards the end of the summer there might be a kit on the car, or that kooks dual 3 inch exhaust, not sure.

Alot depends on the OT at my work, and how much $ I end up dumping into the house again this summer LOL.

I hear ya.. as much as I want to put a LW one on the car.. it's gonna come down to a $ deal more then anything at this point... and one other argument that has been posed to me: Spend 500 bucks after selling the stock hood and having the new one painted to lose 25 lbs or put that 500 bucks towards a nitrous kit, that obviously will make a MUCH bigger difference..... if I was still on a stock motor the hood would be a good idea, but with the motor the way it was built for nitrous, I think the gains from the kit would be substantial to say the least, probably enough with a relaitvly small shot to make the 6 pt bar illegal.
