ct emissions question

do you need tailpipes to pass or can it be dumped before the axle?

I believe as long as you do not have an SES light you are ok. It is only an OBD II test.

yes on post 1995 cars its just a plug in to check for codes.

FYI they are supposed to check for cats.
All codes must be in the "ready" status also.

If you have efi live you can basically do the same test that emissions does. I know if I am going to pass before I bring the car there lol.

We have a friend with a monster of a car, and everyone in there was like yea right its going to pass, well he did since all he needed was a scan.
