Supposedly the A4's don't see half as much wheel hop as the M6, thus why they're putting stock rears into the 9's and 10's with A4's!! Less shock, no backlash in the gears/driveline and a constant load when brake stalling it on the line (taking out the driveline slop/backlash)!
DR's are supposed to help a lot with wheel hop... from what I have read! If you are hopping alot I would suggest BMR drag bags or a pair of Pedders stock height or 5/16" raise drag springs!!! I will be going with the 5/16"s this summer....
Wheel hop was the first thing I tackled with the car... so I have a few upgrades that have helped! With your A4 you should be okay for the mostpart, until you start upping the power!
