Eastside Performance??
Instead of discussing it w/the whole world, just go to the reputable shop you're going to deal with, discuss it privately w/them, give them the amount of money they want as a deposit in their accepted form of payment, and let them order and do the install on a agreed date. That way, the shop is responsible for getting the correct parts that you both agree on (in writing, on the shop's invoice) and installing said parts. When you give anyone $$, ALWAYS get a receipt for it.....or it could end up in a giant cluster -****, as other deals around here have gone lately. Don't learn the hard way. WJ
its also alot easier/preferred that the insatlling shop get the parts they know/trust/ can take care of any issues that arise . i know alot of shops froen upon supplied parts for just the fact that if something doesnt fit right or just plain is wrong they can call the supplier directly as they got it from there and not have to have you call where u got it from then play the waiting game/fighting game while your car is down

Sean I think I have things lined up (hopefully) its a compcams grind hpe c cam 232/234 112 lsa pacesetters 1 3/4 and a vigilante 3k stall. Would you recommend new plugs and wires? If I like what I get as far as service is concerned ( which im sure I will) I will see you again in july for a nitrous install.

He was pretty much saying that IF the customer was smart they would try to get the parts they want from the shop doing the work since for one it's less stessful and 2 the shop would check the stuff out for problems which a customer might not even notice.
A point- If we do headers on a car which we supply the parts and for some reason a header needs to be removed a week later for a crack or something,we will remove it for free ect. If the customer supplies the parts they would get charged.
Also most shops will offer discounted prices for supplying all the parts and doing all the labor.
SPRSPT - Keith was saying the guys who work at Eastside know what they are doing and more often than not it is wiser to go with what they recommend. I always found it best to find a good shop, tell them what your goal is and discuss the route they would take to get there.
If a shop does good work and you let them have their room to work on your car; it will come out right. After building 100+ cars I bet you kind of get a feel for what to do and more than anything; what you want to avoid.

I get all my work done with ESP and they are great. Sean will answer any questions, Ken and Alfred are great guys. They will take care of you and stand by their work. I am getting my cam installed there soon and I wouldnt let anyone else near my car.

Wouldnt go anywhere else, great group of guys 
Eastside is great. We had a great experience there except for the 7th cylinder rod blowing out of the block on the dyno. It's nice to have a good tuning shop located somewhat close to Orange County, NY.
Just Kidding.. Ken ain't that dark for a Sicilian.. 
Eastside is a great shop and Sean's the man. I just picked up my car last night from getting a new cutout welded in and retuned and it came out great. I always go there for dynoing, tunes, and any work I can't do myself. I also have a lot of friends and family that all highly recommend them.
