I would go with the NBM. Take it from a guy with a black car... I will never buy another black car ever again!

6speed hu? You gonna try to row the gears?

Out of those choices I say NBM TA, but it will NOT be fun keeping it clean. Dark colors suck.

The white A4 SS. In '02, white was rarest SS color, and in '01, white wasn't far behind....SOM, White, and Silver are rarest 4th gen SS colors, along w/the 1 yr. wonder--the '99 Hugger Orange units. When all is said and done, the '99 SS Hugger cars will be worth more than any other 4th gen SS's, but buy the white car..... WJ

It's nice to think positive and overvalue one's car, but it's nice to be realistic for a change. With that said, we'll all be dead before these cars become collector's items.

The '99 Camaro SS Hugger Orange cars are ALREADY collector's items. Just try to buy a good, low mileage one, either M6 or A4, even close to book value.... WJ

You're right. I just did a quick search and clicked on a post. There was somebody trying to sell a hugger orange '99 Z28 for $11,000. He was playing up the color, options, and rarity. I thought he needed to get bitch-slapped for asking that much. And it was unbelievable that there were 30+ replies to the post. It made me sick.

The fact is that it IS a collector's item among stupid enthusiasts, but I just appraised an orange '99 Z28 and a white '99 Z28 on Edmunds.com. Guess what? The white '99 Z28 was actually appraised at a higher value. hahaha

Please read the post. It said, "SS Camaro"....and please explain to everyone here who you are calling "stupid enthusiasts." on some low mileage '99 Hugger Orange SS Camaros, (if you can even find any available out there) not just with w/z28 option and let us know what you come up with...

Whether it's an SS or Z28, it's irrelevant. The stupid enthusiasts I'm referring to are the very vain f-body owners who can even put the word collector's item and 4th gen in the same sentence and say it as fact. They're the same people who would overprice/overvalue their cars just because they own a bright purple metallic, sunset orange metallic, cayenne red, quasar blue, sport gold metallic, etc. And the same goes for other cars--there are people selling their purple SSR's and brazen orange metallic GTO's as collector's cars for Pete's sake!

And it doesn't even have to be limited to colors. Can you believe that people actually think they have a collector's car just because they have an SS or a WS6? or that their car has no options whatsoever?! I bet you there's someone out there who thinks their slow-*** V6 4th gen firebird is a collector's item just because it came with a 5-speed manual. And yeah, a stupid enthusiast will pay big dollar for it, because all he knows of are the ones that came with the automatic. Do you get the picture yet?

Damon,I'm not trying to knock u but your a putz..

99 HOSS are in fact rare as a matter of fact in 98 they only built 75 and 99 I believe it was 275..Now u say the purple 98's arent rare and again your a fool as this is very rare color not to mention the gold WS6 cars that made it threw before the were stopped..

Now your GTO wont be worth **** as they are already loosing money as fast as u drive them off the lot..Its one of the worst valued cars out there, believe me I know I own one.If GM doenst decide to build another GTO in 2010 well then maybe these Holdon monaro's will shoot up...

I think not.......

1Le cars will go threw the roof come 2020 or so as will LT4 cars and GMMG cars too
Hawks and some SS combo's too just not as high...

I'm sorry to say u really dont know what your talking about buddy...

No problem, man. Everybody has an opinion and the idea that these 4th gens are collector's items is nothing but an opinion. I agree that some cars with some color combinations are rare, but let's not confuse the word rare with collector's items! Now, I never stated that my GTO is a collector's item and I really don't care if it's worth ****. I bought it to drive it to the drive ground and that's the best reason why anybody should buy it.

You know what? I'm going to be an enthusiast and state the fact:

My 2006 GTO with the combination of Quicksilver Metallic/Black/Manual - 18" Wheels was 1 out of 412 GTO's built in 2006.

Now, I'm going to be a stupid enthusiast and state the opinion:

My car is considered a collector's item, because I have 1 out of 412 GTO's built in 2006 with the Quicksilver Metallic/Black/Manual - 18" Wheels combination.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about, JS. I completely understand your opinion, but I'm a man who appreciates the facts. No hard feelings, buddy.
