damp roads, bald 225 tires, and WOT in 2nd at 3500rpms does not equal traction.

225's? Aren't 245's stock on a 16" wheel on the 4th Gen's??

the second owner before me replaced the tires with 225s. his stupidity also shows in the lowering springs and stock shocks. that tank-slapper was pretty hairy with broken front sway bar links. i need to do some maintenance before i really get on it, but i couldnt help myself

The widest 16" real snow tire we can get for these things is a 225/55 16. They fit fine on stock 16x8s.

yeah ive got like half the HP and NON bald 225s on my car and they wont hold traction all the way through 3rd if i dont let up.
