Well, im on leave this week and i ran up too see my friend yesterday who is a civilian on the base i used to work at on quantico when i was still in the Marine corps, well he has tuesdays off so i said fug it, not that far, so i went to see him and his 06 goat before he sold it. U all might remeber me saying i was gonna run him but i was nervous cause he is racer from the 70s and hes got a 70 gto that he is working on. Anyway, we went to a little spot ive raced at before and lined up real quick for 2 pulls, first one he honked three times and i pulled about a car 1/2 on him, oh, hes an auto with a custom x-pipe and catback with 2 40 series flowmasters. second run i honked 3 times we went and i spun all the way through 1st gear and he got 2 cars on me, i hooked and pulled in 1 lenght and i was slowly pulling him but we ran out of 1/4 mile! So, it seems my car is faster than a near stock A4 GTO with a good driver. Im happy.

you should have the advantage over a gto being as you have the longtubes and intake. its the same motor as us but in a heavier car. i ran a 06 gto before with the ls2 in it when all i had was the longtubes, no intake or tune and i pulled him pretty nicely up to about 130. we both had passengers in our cars too. you coming to thursday night throwdowns next week with me n chauncey?

well, if it were say an LS1 powered GTO i would have known that i would own him, but he is a good driver and its a strong car, he let me drive it. Just cause u owned me on saterday sean, u dont need to burst my happy bubble. I know if i were stock he would have owned me. hit me up Sean.

test and tune at vmp on the 3rd thursday of the month. 6-9 or 10. just started doin it. i have thursday off so it makes it work out perfect for me. ill hit u up darren.... and i didnt mean to burst your bubble. i think mike is gonna burst mine this weekend when me n him run!!

hey sean, got a few more friends that might wan to go, one guy works with me and has an 01 gt with some bolt-ons, he isnt looking to crush any f-bods though, just wants to see what his car has. Also, my other friend up here on my side of the water has an 02 Z28 and its all stock and he wants to see what it has, so all in all, hopefully someone out of the 3 of us should be able to go.
