Brian(Bshell) did warn me that the service light might come on though after so many miles after the header install so im less worried about that and more worried about the burning smell! input would be welcome.
Is it running ok? Make sure the O2 wires are routed ok and haven't been burnt. If you can take it somewhere to have the codes read that would help. Otherwise, I can check on Saturday.

well, i looked under the car and it doesent look like they are damaged, but i cant get it high enough to really check. Also, after i posted this i went to advanced and scanned for codes, and here they are P1133,manufacturer control,fuel/air metering and P1153,manufacturer control, fuel/air metering. Sounds like a Maf issue to me?
Also, Brian, do u think we would have time to do the hose mod? I got those wheels from Tony yesterday and put them on and while they look sweet, they look small, cause the perrelii p-zero tires have like no sidewall. I was just wondering, can i fit a 285 35 18 on these 8.5 wheels.

Those codes mean your O2 sensors aren't switching fast enough. They are common codes after installing headers. Alot of people disable those codes, but I didn't with yours. Are you coming out this Saturday? I'll check it out if you'll be there.

285s will fit, no problem. I run 285s on my stock rims (9" wide).

I had Kumho Ecsta Mx's on the back before and now (as of a week ago) have Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s. Both were/are 285/40/17, but the GSD3s are a little bit wider. I have the 275/40/17 Sumitomo HTRZ II's on the front and they run a little narrow for there size.

I ended up piecing my brakes together from the corvette forum, ebay, and sponsors on this site. You can also get the entire setup from a sponsor if you want all brand new. I can give you more info on Saturday.

The flickering of the lights?? Big stereo?? Subs and amps???

If so u might have a bad alternator going out..... bad battery???
Are you running s capacitor in the car if you are running a big stereo??
if so your pulling alot of voltage and the PCM needs a certain amount to do its job.

thats my .02

My stereo is what came in the car. Stock. It has a brand new battery and my Alt is putting out a hair over 13. More like 13.4 or so. The lights will flicker even with the stereo is off. But when I do have the stereo on it goes with the music, kinda ironic, and funny, but its true. And then when ever it rains and I have to go through any standing water more than an inch it will cause the car to run like complete ***.

For the price, the HTRZ II's stick pretty well. I had them on the back when I was bolt on's only and I liked them (I had 345hp back then).

^^^diddo thats what I am running, and even with a stall they stick farely well. Not the best out there, but for the money, they are awesome. And I also have the 315's so I have more rubber contacting the road.
