remember, the charger was only supposed to weigh in around 3700lbs when they were doing the performance+value hype, the SRT8 curbs over 4100lbs and bases at nearly $39k.
this has been the pattern with most of the chrysler hype vehicles for the last decade or so and i don't expect it to change. it won't compete on paper or on the track with the available camaros and mustangs.

i'm a die hard chevy fan myself but i'd like to see the camaro on a scale before i get too excited. we'll see how large of a car the charger is. then again the gto's wernt too big and they are pigs.
