Ok, I've had this fantasy about seeing a true remake of the original movie made...not a sequel involving an elephant with Dom DeLuise in the truck and no rubber sharks taped to the back of a lame 150hp '82 Trans Am and certainly no TV series with a Dodge Stealth playing the lead car...I'm talking a politically INCORRECT, middle finger to the highway patrol, in yo' face, all out recreation of the original with cameos by Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jerry Reed and even Junior (sorry to say, Jackie Gleason is no longer with us, RIP Buford T. Justice LOL) and of course starring one of these new LSX powered Year One cars (or I'd accept a black and gold 2002 WS6 as well ).
