hate the factory one, but stupid jersey with their stupid front plate( ) makes it seem pointless to try a new one- any of you guys in jersey do it? i'd love to put a black powdercoated one on

I have been driving without a front plate in NJ for many years. No plates on the TA or the SS. I do have the plates sitting in my window and i have never got a ticket for it

In VT you have to have a front plate too... but in 8 years of driving f-body's and vette's the only time I had a front plate on the car was to get it inspected. I've been ticketed twice, both times I paid the $50... you don't get any points for not having a front plate.

Running with no front plate is just asking to get pulled over. You might not get a ticket, but the more attention you bring you could get busted for any other things that aren't legal so why bother. I hate the front plate but it's not worth the hassle of being pulled over. Maybe, some day we'll get to toss them out. Don't hold your breath though. I have the stock Camaro grill and an SS grill so I'm running the Camaro one with the plate for now.
