i have the same thing with a stock SLP dual dual and its not loud at all. a cam didnt make my car louder. just lopier.
i'm hoping to get alot more lope but i think my cam is going to sound pretty tame.

That's the way it goes Justin. It happens every now and again. Better a warning than a citation though. I will probably be doing the same thing soon, except I will be "upgrading" to the Magnaflow from a stock cat-back 
Should keep it semi-quiet and flow a little better.. or at least I am hoping! I'll pretty much be doing it for a power increase, whereas I am not to worried about the sound it creates as long as it's not too loud and has zero rasp, which Magnaflow is from what I am told!
Joe- I have to hear your car.. I am now very curious since our set-up's would be similar!

Yeah I ordered up the magnaflow yesterday. I was thinking of putting a catted y in. But Michelle was going to kick my *** after she knows I just spent alot of money on that y pipe. Plus the LM came on the car when I bought it, so Iam making a quick 200 off of it and selling it to my buddy.

It was fun while it lasted, and to tell ya the truth I was starting to get sick of the rasp and drone. Don said the magnaflow shouldnt do that at all and will still sound wicked when I do get on it.

Yup, exactly my main reasons for thinking Magnaflow over a custom 3" sweet thunder set-up! But am undecided still, go figure!
West Bridgewater cops are dicks. I live in Bridgewater and grew up in East Bridgewater. I hope they dont give me **** when my car is running... 383 LTX 224 cam, headers, OR pipe, LM. Once the turbo goes on it will quiet it down.
