MD people with LTs/ORY ...what do you guys do for inspection/emissions? I'm putting on some long tubes and ORY. Does anybody know if they do a visual or sniffer in MD, or do they just plug in the OBD2? Thanks in advance.
they do not run sniffers on OBD2 cars for emissions. all they do is plug it up, make sure those codes are gone. they never even look twice at my car and its LTs/ORY with a cutout, loud as hell...
Inspection, only when you purchase the vehicle, had a ticket written up for it.
Emissions - After 96 they just plug you in. If you feel really sketchy about it even though you've had your codes tuned out you can hit up the VIEP station thats right by Rt40 on the east side of the city and slide the guy $20 if you want.
