Actually it's come a long way lot's of 10-9 second 4l60's, RPM, Rossler, etc. It's worth it to me even if I need to replace/rebuild it every 3-4 years or so. But I'm a 50/50 car not a 80+/20 car like yours. Otherwise I'd be going A3 myself.

I have taken it out on the street twice this year, probably won't again. As soon as the emmissions comes up and I don't go thru, I suspect the state will send me a letter, and at that point the plates are getting turned in.
The risk of tickets and whatnot are just too high, and every time I take it out I worry about some old lady running a light and hitting it, etc.etc..... it's just not worth it at this point. Too much $/time into it Besides, I'd rather enjoy it 10 times a year going fast, then 20 times worrying the whole time about a ticket/stupid driver hitting it.
