Talking Got Slowhawk tuned today

First I want to thank Don for doing a killer job tuning my car. Car runs soo much better now.

Let's not forget I paid $4500 for the car the way it sits and it has 160,000 miles on it.

made 350/350

Thats what I expected so I'm happy

Mods:
SLP Lid
Ported TB
TSP TQ V2
Ebay Headers
Cutout

With a LS6 intake or even going to the FAST the car should pick up quite a bit

Time for the 4:10s to go in and then new tranny and clutch...although i might just go Auto right off the bat.

Again thanks Don

Glad your happy Marco.Did pretty good for the high mileage and limited mods.Would gain a good bit with a LS6 intake and underdrive pulley.

The cutout was the best mod.Gained 30hp just opening it up.

6-Speed is nice but hard to win races with. I plan on racing this car alot next year so it only makes sense to do it right.

WOW that's a lot more then I would expect for like a $150 mod. Maybe I should look into getting one

I guess that shows how restrictive the stock system is, but with the milage, I wonder if its clogged, with the cam it made a HUGE jump and people always say the stock system vs aftermarket doesnt gain much. I think it gains better what the general consensus.

I miss my cut out on my LT1 car.

I dont have a stock cat back on the car, its 1 pipe into a turbo muffler then comes out to the drivers side with a turn down behind the bumper so you dont see the exhaust.

Guess that muffler is junk

On my Trans Am the cutout was worth 25HP over the stock exhaust. That was a H/C car.

Congrats Marco! Sounds liek a hell of a deal to me! When my t56 goes south it's a th400 and brake time! If it lasts to the next motor it'll be a glide!

It's very misleading. The catback is very cheap with a turbo muffler and 1 bent up 3" outlet. The car is very quiet with the cutout closed. It needs the cutout.

If he put a Magnaflow exhaust on there the hp difference would be 0.

Yeppers,I've seen 23RW from a cutout on a383 LT1 car.The dyno operator couldnt believe it when I told him it would pick up over the junk flowmaster setup....He was in shock,I wasnt as I've always seen a $20 cutout pick up at least 6RW or more...

Hell even on my WS6 the darn thing was worth .05 in ET

Did the car have that cam in it, or did you put it in?
