What are the laws in new jersey on nitrous. I found an application to fill out to carry and transport the gas. Is that all we need to do here? Or does the bottle have to be disconnected? I have googled and found nothing and here the search is down.

Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

I've always been under the impression that as long as u have a current NJ Nitrous permit then you are legal. I've only been asked for it a few times when pulled over and they usually just take a glance at it and I'm fine.

I've never gotten hastled once I showed my permit even with all the lines visibly hooked up.

permit is all you need its so you can buy ,transport and use nitrous for racing purposes. It can be hooked up and on they need to prove you used it on the street to bust ya. Thats a hard one to prove. If you dont have the permit it can be a real bad day for ya the cops can call in a has-mat team to remove the tank from your car and dispose of it nice bill to go with that.
