Where were all the Vettes going?

Where were all the Vettes going? So I'm driving east on the Mass Pike this morning to make a delivery near Boston, and I must have seen about two dozen Corvettes heading west on the Pike, some solo, some in groups of 2-5. Anyone know what that's all about?

yesterday i saw 3 old stingrays driving west on the PA turnpike... also saw a truck with a full load of C6's... brand new.
(doesnt really answer your question, but it could be related!)
