Anyone get halo3? I got my legendary after waiting in line for two hours. Game is awesome but i'm tired so i'm going to bed but I have two days off so i'll be playiing all day. if any of you have live hit me up...budman24

Suppose to be a great game, but I've always thought the Halo series was over hyped, it's good but not great compared to the countless FPS that have already been released. FPS on consoles suck using controllers IMHO. Gimme a mouse any day.
If I had a 360 I'd get it. But I got a PS3 with anticipation of the games coming out for it in 08. I do have Ranbow Six Vegas, but it's not really a FPS, more like GOW.
I'm waiting for the new GT5, Metal Gear Solid, GTA4, FFXIII, etc
The 360 is a great platform and i am not biased at all, but the games I like the most are on the Sony platform, plus I think the PS3 will outlast the 360 once developers learn how to code using the hardware on the PS3. Plus PS3 controllers > 360 controllers.
If I had the $ I'd buy both, Halo3 does look to be one of the better FPS you can get. BTW I played the Demo for Resistance Fall of Man and I didn't really like it, thoght it was a little boring. If I had to recommend a system for right now it would be a 360 because it has the most titles and games are easier to develop.
If you wanna play the most anticipated and advanced FPS out there check out Crysis coming out in Nov, only downfall is you need a computer w/ a $400 video card to play.

and i have halo 3, i waited in line for 4 hours and played in the halo 2 tournament. got my *** kicked but i hated halo 2 i just did it to not be outside the whole time =X i have work from 11:30- 6 or so but ill prolly be on after that

Halo 3, bah. I'm pretty anti-halo. I'm into Shadowrun right now. GoW is a great game, but unless you are the server host on multiplayer you are severely disadvantaged. The bullet lag if you are not the server is usually at least 1-2 seconds, if not worse. I don't see how that is acceptable 
Billy and I both agree with you... They had one company that made a keyboard/mouse combo but it doesnt seem to work well...
