Default MIR racers

i was thinking of making a trip down to mir on Oct 7 for test-n-tune and i was wandering how good the track prep is and was also wandering how crowded it gets there. i think tnt is from 10a-6p on that day. on average how many passes do you guys get. i want to make sure it's worth the 5hr trip for me. the elevation is only 80ft compared to 1250ft on my home track. track prep always sucks where i race. on average is the prep good, bad or fairly decent.
thanks.

Probably the best track I run at, prep is always good. They are pretty organized & keep things moving. Last time I did a T&T there I got 4 runs & left at 3.

using mapquest looks like they are very close in time and distance. there is no tnt at cecil on oct 7. i just want to race my car somewhere close to sea level in good air. sucks to race all the time when the da is 1800-3200ft. so mir will be my first choice. i think cecil has an elevation of 320ft. still better than anywhere i raced before.
thanks.

after rethinking this, you probally will have better track prep at mir. There president's cup nationals are this weekend.. They PREP the track for the 4 sec dragster and funny cars. Plus you will have more rubber down from those cars.. Same distance, go to mir.

I do recommend cecil though when it gets cooler
