How is it possible I missed just everyone, damn. I thought I saw NHRATA01 drive past once but it was one of those real quick things were I wasnt sure. I was parked on the grass next to the staging lanes but up by the gate to leave that area. I think I saw your car INTENESS is it a copper looking color? If so Please dont tell me thats where you all were haning out cause I was about 200' away and didnt even notice. I had a bad day at the track with traction issues all day, I was either wheel hopping or spining. Street tires will be gone for next time.

Yea, too bad I couldnt go. Damn jimmy your catching up now! TOld you, not to worry about HP #'s, where it matters is at the track. Of all the weekends in October to go, I went on the hottest and mustered a 13.0X but like the other said, there is next year. I have plenty to work on.

It was very cold yesterday, weather was def. on our side but traction was a bitch, lol, and fighting the wind. I was honestly very lucky to have broken into the 12's, I'll post the timeslip when I get home, but it was my very first pass and I was running 13.0 the next passes after, and one 13.2 when I tried to lower the tire preassure down to 13psi just to see what it'd do (live and learn). It was at around 17-18psi when I ran the 12.9 and then was stuck in 13.0 the rest of the day. I had a 2.0 60ft every pass, even the 13.2 pass, and this was on my radials, I guess I was doing one tire fire and that's why I couldn't hook I'm assuming, so now I'm looking into better rear ends for when this one lets go. I guess it come's down to the 12 bolt or 9" inch, and then I will prob have to worry about my tranny.

I used to have a dsm so I'm used to the whole domino effect of things breaking, but this car sure has been a lot more reliable so far (nock on wood), i'm just worried this is the calm before the storm, lol.

The only issue is when the 12 bolt comes into play your adding not just static weight but rotating weight, if you do no other mods but add it, you will slow down a lil but the main point of getting one is to allow the rear to survive when you start wacking the throttle and turning up that wick.

I wish I could have gone, my slicks are 99% dead and even though I had a offer to borrow nitto's or even Chef's 26" Bias-ply Slick'o DOOM, I think it would have been a bad situation and prob wouldnt improve. Plus the clutch it still working, why mess with a good thing.

If you cant afford the 12 bolt, start trolling the FS section, there was a rear with 3.73's for sale here, thats worth checking out

Well I'm hoping this rear will last me if I don't launch it anymore, and since the seasons over I don't plan to, but next season if I do get a better rear, I'll def. be getting a decent power upgrade, I've only stuck to a few good bolt on's that I've read about because I was scared of breaking the rear, go figure, lol. The rear and the tranny, I've heard great things about the mighty ls1 though so I wasn't too worried about the engine, lol.

edit: Here is my timeslip

I found a pic of my last run, I think this is still on it's way up, or on the way down, because I lost view of the track completely for a second....
