Default ESP helps me get a new PB

I went up to NED lastnight and got one good run in after that it was like driving on ice... I actually came within inches on one run from putting into the wall around the 8th, thats when I called it a night. However I got a chance to try out the new converter and got a 12.4@110. I also had some help from Vinny, he let me borrow his M/T's that hooked up great the first run.
Eastside + Vinny ***!!!

Awesome, congratz on the new PB. Was the M/T ET Streets, ET Drag, or ET Street radial. What made you almost hit the wall?

Well I had the stall in there lastnight, I haven't added that to my mods in the sig. Its a 3400 stall. I was running 275 et streets. The 2-3 shift suprisingly enough is what almost had me kissing the wall. I know a guy who works on tranny's and build stalls for all the "big" drag guys around here so I went to him and he built a 3400stall with a anti-balloning plate he says its good for atleast 550rwhp.

They rubbed on the insides of the inner side of the fender but not on the outside lip.

^ Thanks guys, Todd I'm still a ways off from your 11.2 but hopefully I will be there by next season. I am either going with a magnacharger, sts turbo, or L92/L76 combo with spray. What do you guys think?

Out of those choices and becuse I had one, I'd definitely go with the STS Turbo with the A4... Drivability is Great, the Sound is Awesome and the power is insanely smooth! You will love it. Don't forget it's also the kit that's on the Countries fastest GTO.... so it's proven!

Just food for thought my 2000 Trans Am made 416rwhp/416rwtq on 5psi non-intercooled.

Thats the Main reason why i am looking inot the sts simply because I have stalled auto so it will do me good. Can I run it on my gto @5 psi with no intercooler or would that be unsafe? I will be keeping my longtubes on ( for the cam) I haven't heard much about longtubes hurting the sts all that much. So I expect to make about 520rwhp on the 5 psi... what do you think?

I had long tubes on the Trans Am.. didn't hurt a thing and was right were STS "quotes" where the car should be at! You could run 5psi non- if you wanted but I would prefer intercooled with Methanol injection.. makes it nice and safe for the motor! I dunno about 520rwhp on 5psi.... but maybe with the cammed LS2, sure sounds possible.. I'd have to look into it more! You're correct in your thinking too with the Stalled Auto and STS.... Simply BadAss!

STS works but if you drive your car in all weather I would look at other power adders.

I would follow Todds setup which would put you in the low 10's easilly. The Mags make some power but are limited by the heat.

Another option is the proven APS twin Turbo.

The way your car sit's now should be able to hit 11.8's in this weather with some more practise.

Yeah there's the ProCharger route too, but I was being selfish and keeping it to myself... Ha Ha Ha Can't have too many of these GTO's running around with ProChargers on them... LMAO
