Fed Ex = horrible Horrible experiences with fed ex, I know its a busy time of the year but from tracking# my package has been delayed 4 days already.
I had another one come last week and it ended up being delivered to my neighbors house. I live in a single house and mail # is clearly marked.
Never had any probs with ups or dhl
well lost my buisness, hate waiting for parts

Same thing happened to me. Taken to a neighbors house and left on there porch. We had the driver come back after calling the 800 number. He pointed to where he left them on my porch. About a week later the owner of a house with a address similar to mine returned them to me. THe Fed driver lied to my face and the 800 number lady on the phone was a total moron. I make sure everything delivered to me is UPS
Perhaps you should call them and ask why the package is delayed. Delivering in Pennsylvania is tough due to not having 911 addresses, especially if you gave a Rural route and PO box only. I work for FedEx and run PA route and its very tough at times, compared to Delivering to NY its like a foreign country. For future reference a good thing to do is make sure your phone number is given to be put on the shipping label in case the driver has any issue finding your location. If you go ahead and call them they should be able to give you the reason the package has been delayed, whether it be a weather delay, just no delivery attempt made, bad address or whatever.

Fed Ex struggles with rural addresses. I shipped out a package to my brother in Edison NJ (populated town in central Jersey) and to my wife's sister in Alabama. My brother got his stuff on time on Friday at 2:30pm, my wife's sister still hasn't gotten hers. Argh....
People also need to realize that this time of year is a peak shipping season meaning that Fedex and many shippers are supplying temp drivers in certain areas that need extra help. This sometimes means drivers who are not as familiar with the areas. Also stops and packages are doubled sometimes tripled for each route, along with more mileage that has to be traveled...this combined with newer drivers means delayed time getting a package. The best thing you can do is expect delays and ship earlier to avoid this. I am not sure if the weather has been bad there lately but up here it has been, and rural drivers face poorly taken care of roads, ice and other problems. I know for a fact that Rural PA drivers up here take 2wd Vans where 4wd is most definately a requirement. Just the other day i had directions to where to take a package, it was a seasonal road and I literally had to cross a flowing creek...half the road was like driving down a creek-bed.
