Default I hate dealerships!!

I brought my 05 tahoe in for warranty work, clunk in intermediate steering shaft, radio button worn, sunroof binding......to start they open 10min late making me late for work and they give me a total beater malibu with the gas light on, I picked my truck up that night only to find greasy hand prints all over the leather, the sunroof untouched, new steering wheel buttons but they dont light up, and some assclown forgot to reinstall the panel in the dash

hmmmm......very upsetting indeed. I assume you brought all these problems up to the manager upon discovery?

Hell the 01 WS6 w/ 53,000 miles I bought Sept. 3rd blew it's t-56 in 800 miles. Dealer didn't want to cover it and the vehicle was GM Certified. Took them a month to fix it, including breaking it twice in the process. Get it back in a little over a month, charge me $100 for a deductable(?) and forget to bolt the tranny mount to the tranny crossmember!!! I am really ticked about it and WILL NOT LET A DEALER TOUCH MY CAR AGAIN!!! The best thing I've heard to do is call the distict rep for GM or customer rep. That's what I'm going to be doing. It took them a month to do that, but it took me a week and a half to take the tranny out of my 99 and send it to Six Speed Inc, get it back reinstall it with a clutch, motor/tranny mounts, and upgrade the hydraulics.

Sorry didn't mean to write so much, but I feel what your saying about dealers. Although some are good, not all of them are bad.

You need to bring this to the service managers attention..if you are still under warranty you may or maynot receive a random survey about your visit and repairs. The is very important to the service advisor and the technician who worked on the vehicle...if you do not fill out the survey "Completely Satisfied" this will give the dealership a Failure (especially Question #16) Some service writers get paid on their surveys and a failure survey will get them in a world of trouble...too many failure surveys cost them their job. The reason I am explaining all of this to you is because you as a warranty customer should receive the royal treatment. Did you pick the vehicle up after the service dept was closed?? You definately need to let them know you are disatisfied. Note: You can go a long way if you complain enough to GM!!! If the service writer/service manager do not help you, you can call GM customer assistance and start a case file, they will then reach the service manager and back you up on your complaints 1-800-222-1020. Can I ask why the steering wheel button were replaced? Did you have a appointment before you dropped it off? Just asking because the sunroof can get very involved because you they have to take down the headliner and remove the sunroof track and maybe that particular tech was not available that day. I hope I helped you out..what dealership do you take it too?
