Default Darn it!

Well today was a perfect day (cloudy, 62*) for detailing the T/A. I washed it first. Then clay bar, Meguires Scratch X, Meguires NXT. During the second coat of wax I noticed a crack in my front windshield (about 12" long). WTF?!? It just showed up. Believe me, I would have noticed if it happened while I was washing the car.

Anyways, those of you know me, know I'm pretty **** about my car. So... does any one know a top notch window shop in CT (perferably close to Stratford)? I'm also a little baffled why this would happen. The car only has 30,000 miles on it. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance, Jim

How did you like the NXT. Just used it today after Clay bar & I hate the stuff. Do you need another wax under it or something? What are you talking about Meguiars X, Scratch X?

Yep, Scratch X. I love the NXT. It goes on, and comes off very easy. The car looks great (except the crack in the windshield). I've tried other stuff... Mothers, Turtle Wax ICE come to mind and nothing is easier to use than NXT, IMO. Perhaps you need another coat?
