Probably wouldnt need them if you limited the front end travel.

Test what?

I'm with you on the keeping it off the bumper... it wasnt cheap when I did it.

But I would still put limiters on the car, your wasting motion/energy letting the shocks extend that much.
Limit the travel and it will probably react faster and 60' faster.

Oh you too? That's why I made these bars for Noyzee extra strong!!! LOL we are going to use the same bars for our car to start out on. Most of my class regulations prohibit the use of wheelie bars though. We'll use them to dial in the suspension...

Mine wasnt quite as bad as yours but it cost me a oil pan, headers, trans. case. .... the second time I caught it early and it only touched the headers and cracked the oil pan.

We have been thinking about putting a set on for testing.

last year i caught myself just in time.
i ended up with a little flat spot on my mufflers with some rubber from the track on the headers. it was a close call. thats why i have the bars this year

Fireball: Brad was concerned with the bumper hitting with the bars, so he kept them low. He will adjust them accordingly now.

100% correct. i had them down about 2" from my bumper about 13" off the ground to the bolt on the wheels, but the way everything moves that was not high enouph, i cranked them up about 2 more inches they are almost at my bumper now, i have about 1 more inche to crank, but thats a good 3-4" at the wheels so i should be in good shape

You're gonna have to put a couple notches in the bumper for the bars to clear when it's all said and done.

Yeah, the notches on that aren't very big and don't look bad IMO. If you have the ground effect that goes all the way around on the back, it will require a deeper notch, but not a huge deal.

Or are you referring to the !t-top area mod?
