Pics of Krazy SS
btw i want to make sweet love to ur automobile
Yeah when I heard I could fit the big radial without major work I jumped all over it. I can't wait to drive this thing.
Don's not letting me drive until we bring it to the track
we should def have a LSX/LTX day at NED some year The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
P.S that rear is going in my car as we speak, never had a 6 speed with 4.10s, should be fun. LOL!!!!

Yeah 4.10's in a A3, your nuts because I know you wanna roll it on the street.
Hell I am contemplating going back to a 3.42 (not this year). I get like 250 miles on a tank now (hwy) and almost no track gains.
I'm very surprised you didn't see any gains from the gear change Dan, only thing I can think of that would cause that is lack of traction.
. I'll be replacing the stall for next year (probably PT4400), that alone will help immensely.
My advice for street/strip auto LSX's is keep the gears mild and get the stall wild. Then your hwy mileage won't suffer and you see way more gains with a nice converter than lower gears. Remember I'm talking about lockup converters in electronic A4's, the TH400 is even more retarded in that respect lol, so I guess your right that the converter plays a bigger roll.
I drove my car to hampton beach and back which is about 85 miles one way. I used 80% of my tank, doing about 70 mph. sucks.
If you are looking at a converter change, a yank 4400 will certainly be a ton beter, but before you buy one call Lenny@ ultimate converter concepts, talk to him. He can build you one specificially for your car for probably similar $ and I'd be willing to bet that it will be as good if not a tenth or 2 faster then a generic 4400 that's not built around your specific car.
Converter with an auto car is everything, having the wrong one vs the right one will make as much a difference as 100+ hp will.
I'm changing mine tomorrow fwiw
