Another Emissions question
I will soon own my first LS1 car (w00t w00t!!). This car in particular. But before I commit I'm a little worried about the emissions testing I'll have to bring it through in Connecticut because this car has its EGR/AIR & cats removed. I've been reading through some old threads about PCM tuning related to emissions testing and what I've gathered is that as long as the car's computer isn't throwing a code and all codes are 'ready' you will pass the scan test. Is this correct? Is there someone local that will touch this? I'd hate to buy a car and find out I can't even register the thing because of this emission garbage. I need some input.

as long st there is no check engine light on you should be fine... as far as the cats... some shops do a visual inspection and look for them.... i went to 2 different emission centers and 1 of them didnt check, and the other emission center looked under the car, but i think he had no idea what he was looking for! welcome to the LS1 world!
