The independent rear can be good if you launch it right and you can make it decent with the upgraded axles they sell. I believe my brother went 10's with the stock irs and stock unported blower obviously he had the upper and lower pullies intake exhaust pro stars and a tubular k although the car still weighs around 3700. Those 03-04 cobras are a good car they are torque monsters.

The Kenne Bell twin screw is a great terminator upgrade. More efficient, lower intake temp, more boost.

Did you sell the TA ? How is it shifting the cobra with the shifter about 2 feet in front of where it belongs ? Are you racing it saturday ?

The shifter was weird at first, thats always been my biggest complaint about all mustangs. But after a couple hours of driving it started to feel better. I've talked to a few guys who have gone from F-bodies to Cobra's and they all say after a couple weeks it feels natural. I wont be racing on saturday but I'll be there helping Noyzee. I want to put it on the dyno and have it dialed in before I race it.

Seeing your car last week made me miss the Vette a little, but I needed to try something new. I haven't been 100% happy with any of my last few cars and wanted to try something different, I think this is exactly what I was looking for.

Not true.... A few guys around here are still on IRS with whipple and are running 11.0s. One guy with a Mystic Chrome 04 has the 3.4 whipple, I think, and has run a best of 10.9 on the IRS with some MTs out back.
