Va Beach / Hampton area A/C Help
Hey hey, im having a problem with my a/c...it blows but not cold at all...in fact it kinda blows hot in all settings. I think it might be my a/c compressor (thing looks beat to hell) but i was hopin maybe somone in the area knows a little more to do with a/c because i dont know sh*t when it comes to that area! Anyway, if any of yall out there feel yall can help me and take a quick looksie, it'll be good for a free lunch and a beer or two
you can call me at 224-388-8646 name is walter, friends call me ez (last name is ezell)
edit: i simply refuse to go to a shop on anything. if its not engine/transmission/rearend internals then i can do it myself damnit. haha

Listen for it to kick on, it is a noticeable sound, or have someone start it up for you with the a/c off then turn it on. The clutch makes a noise when engaged.
On a side note, I haven't a clue where the hell that is. Maybe we can meet up this weekend at BPS or something. I still haven't made it out there (just 10 seconds down the street by Bennigans) to the meet. I should roll up in the wife's corolla.

you will notice the idle drop a little bit and then raise back up. when the compressor kicks on the idle drops, but then the pcm corrects for it and raises the idle up to compensate for the compressor being on. so look at the rpm gauge next time and see what it does.
