replacing third brakelight

anyone replace the 3rd brakelight on their SS spoiler? Just want to know the best way to do it, any tricks..

i tied a piece of wire on the wire and pulled it throw to hook up the new wire to the one you pulled throw so all you have to do is pull it back. and get sum small washers so the new light dosnt crack around the bolt hole.

Thanks, i used 3m double sided tape and the screws, but didnt tighten screws all the way so the brake light dont break.
