DC area peeps...
DC area peeps... Sup to all, just found out a couple weeks ago that I'll be moving to the DC area in mid December and was wondering what the scene is like out there...
Hope to not have to DD my car once we get out there since she is in need of a little TLC but once the weather gets nice hope to have it out and about in the area on the weekends....
Oh yeah before I forget how bad are the cops in that area on tint. The car is will be registered in south dakota but I knowsome cops around here (TX) dont seem to care..

i travel up that way every weekend to visit my girlfriend. cops dont seem to mind tint, but take it from a fellow texan, watch the speed. everything is 55 or 65 here, including interstates. you're prolly use to 75 in texas....here that is a wreckless driving ticket (ask me how i know)

another good thing is there is some decent shops two with in an hour from you F Body central in baltimore and PSI in glenburnie, Performance Auto Fab is a lil bit further but worth the drive
County cops dont seem to care much about your tint, at least they wont pull you over for it. Might give you some **** if they pull u over for speeding though. but let a statey follow you and u can just about guarantee a ticket for it. Stateys are really bad in the northern VA area. they will pull you over for anything, and warnings from them are few and far between. if they are pulling you over, you are getting a ticket...

Depends on where you drive with the tint I live 5mins from dc and have 5% on the back and dont get bothered. But I drive my DD into DC and yes the cops will harass you about tint. But I wouldn't drive an f-body into the city anyways cause the potholes are massive.
LOL that's what I hear Life is expensive there.... Looks like atleast for awhile we will be staying on base... Wehn we do move off it is just shy of an extra 3 grand a month
I have 2 gripes about the area. Cost of living and traffic.
Welcome to the area. Check out the local FBody board for what's happening. BTW... we have meets the first Saturday of every month. Even in the winter.
