Shakedown @ E-Town Pics!
it was a blast to watch.
too bad I could not get close to the action. One of the track photographers is a good guy and has awesome equipment, but the rest of the guys on the wall had camera's and lenses far worse then mine, and IMHO take worse pictures, and yet there allowed to be there and im not... I hate E-Town...
At the last QTP race one of the guys with a camera 1/2 the quality of mine and a lens that he probably bought at Sears, told me with about $6000 of camera gear on my back, that Im not qualified to be by the wall... what a jerk off
A little less mine is bigger than yours/namedropping please.

If Michael Schumacher was driving a 1983 Dodge Diplomat (with white wall tires
) and pulled up next to me in my Vette at a light HE'D STILL be a better race car driver than me regardless.
Then again it would likely rain pink elephants for two years straight before Michael Schumacher would ever pull up next to anyone while driving a 1983 Dodge Diplomat LOL.

Indeed! I agree, but with Photography as with a lot of things, you are only as good as your equipment.
And while the main Photographer at E-Town is really good, the one I was talking about sucks, as does his equipment.
What would it take to get you closer or even on the track next time, can Barry or maybe Edgar get you into that 'club' somehow?
