I hear him on the money situation, I'm just getting another complete 10 bolt for $350 and sticking it in, wish I had funds to upgrade.

Ive sheered the head of a carrier bolt straight off mine. Put a nice hole in the diff. cover. Had it rebuilt by NLP w/ GM 3.73s and havent had a problem yet, even whining.

Just a little remodeling I did to a pinion gear.

Used 10 bolt parts are cheap enough, I'll keep throwing junk together until I can afford a 12 bolt. Right now my house is more important.

Wow, that's pretty. lol I took the cover off today, and I sheared 3 teeth off the ring gear, with just bolt-ons!

That right there tells me it wasn't set up properly. The breakage I had was to be expected at my power level. A solid pinion spacer is one of the must haves to make these things live IMO.
