Moving to Delray/WPB area

Moving to Delray/WPB area I'm moving down to Delray/Boca/WPB area in about a month or two.
Anyone have any recommendations for a decent apartment complex (1 bedroom) in that area? Anything within half-hour drive of Delray would be great. Cheaper the better, but not so cheap I need a gun under my pillow.

Stonybrook Apartments in Boynton Beach is nice. I lived there before buying my house. You can get a garage (detached with single bedroom) or attached (with a 2 or 3 bedroom). Also, it is gated and they have hurricane shutters/impact resistant windows for each apartment. Never had any problems there. Publix Supermarket is right across the street, couple nice restaurants as well. Easy access to the Turnpike or I-95 (but far enough away from I-95 that you don't need a gun under your pillow.) Welcome to South Florida! Come on out to the Palm Beach International Raceway's Challenge Series (Bracket Racing at one of the finest 1/4 drag strips in the Country). Next event is Feb 14th. The Challenges are: Corvette, GM (non-Corvette), Mopar, Mustang, Ford (non-Mustang) and Truck. Great time and you'll meet some great people!
