Doing a getaway weekend in St. Augustine... advice?

Doing a getaway weekend in St. Augustine... advice? Never been there. So far I got the Castle, a winery and a ghost tour planned...
what else is there to do if anyone lives there or has visited. I'd like to see a live band in a rock bar or something.

go to tradewinds (downtown) on a night between sunday and thursday... they have a cover band called Matanzas, they are awesome and it is a fun place... go to the beach of course, and eat at mango mango's on A street, it is awesome... and if you will be down on a sunday, definitely check out reggae sunday at the conch house...

i went a few yrs back we stay in the casa de monica "or somthing like that". Check out the old flagler hotel also the old school house is kool there a street that is just for pedestrians with shops on it, theres a icecrem place called killwins i think its great.

and be sure to see the fort, it may be on the ghost tour, I can't remember if it is or not, but a ghost team did a show in the fort one night and some of them freaked out, they said they "definitely feel some tortured souls in this place"
The ghost tours are cool, but I like the Pub ghost tours. I havent been in a while, but they used t drive you around from pub to pub and tell you a little about the history and of course a ghost story, and you get to have a couple drinks to boot.
Oh and dont forget, they do have nice beaches there too.

My wife and I stayed at the Charlotte Inn and were happy with that place. We also really like Harry's Restaurant down the street. Some cool things we did... walk the streets/shop, ghost tour, fountain of youth, and the alligator farm.

Night time lighthouse ghost tour. Alligator Farm is fun so is the original Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Fountain of Youth and Old Jail are also nice. Take your time and use the sight seeing trolleys. They are like a pay once taxi. Schmagels Bagels is a must for breakfast, its on Hypolita St, thats part of St George St. There is also Scarlett Oharas, awesome food, that is dirrectly across from Schmagels. If you get the time, you would always come up here, we are just another 45min north in Orange Park.

it's just me and my girl and we wanted to do be somewhere that has history and things to do besides getting ****-faced for 3 days. It's Spring Break and we don't really want to be around that kind of stuff.

also i wouldnt go on the dumb lil trolley tours, they cost $20 per person and arent really that great... you should definitely hit up st george street (all the lil ma and pa shops) and the alligator farm, but ripleys, the fountain of youth and the fort... i dunno what matt was thinking suggesting scarletts for food, lol, but schmagels is amazing...
