Plus Thursday night im taking my firebird along with my buddys 4.8 on3 firebird to Lakeland. Instead of dynoing my car first im just going to tune it at the track. So it may not even make a full pass
nice, I'll be glad to see that thing run again. anxious to see what steve's car does too. gotta talk him into bumping it up a couple pounds too

Well looks like I'm gonna go the Ingole route. Junkyard 5.3
Just with nitrous instead.
Pulled the head off my week old lq9 with ported 706 heads, btr stage 4 cam, and ported ls2 intake.
The piston and rod in cyl #6 are in a bagillion pieces in the oil pan
Cam still looks good so I plan on throwing it in the 5.3. When everything came apart it took out the passenger side head. So I'll have to port another set for the new to me motor.

I'll post pics of the carnage when I get to the computer

If anybody here in the Lakeland area is looking for automotive work there is a tech opening at Regal on the north side for Honda/Acura. Send me a pm on who to contact if interested. FYI there are rarely openings on the Honda/Acura side. Good pay, good employer, you can turn good hrs too, I've turned over 50 in the past 3 days, Wed-Thur-Fri
