any ac shop will check it for free tbh... give you an estimate and you can choose to accept him working on it or not...

Mine did the same thing last year and I ended up getting a used compressor off of here for $150 and I replaced the accumulator also and with labor I think my total cost was about $400 and it still works great (def miserable in FL when it isn't working). Just my .02

yea I wont even drive the car now with this heat, after 2minutes of no a/c im sweating like Shaqu at the foul line.
going to have it looked at this weekend hopefully and go from there, it sucks having a car just sit there.

My compressor went out
Clutch engages and pressure remains at 100# on both high and low side.
Ive got a rebuilt compressor ready ,going to get an accumulator today.

wow.. misinfo like whoa..

i do a/c for a living.. if you looked down and that compressor is spinning.. its shot.. unless you have a bad blend door which is super rare on these cars.. I would me more than happy to take a look at the car if your in the apopka area for free and tell you what you need.. i've done a few ac systems on this board.. truth is everyone can sit here and guess and not a single person could be right..

the condenser should NEVER get cold.. it should get hot as it is pre orfice. the accumulator is nothing but a desicant/filter.. it would have to be super fubar for it to cause you to stop cooling..

as i have said before.. the v series compressors on these cars are JUNK.. they are variable displacement and love to blow metal clear through the system.. so 90% of the time replacing the condenser us necessary..

I am a wholesale distributor for a/c delco /delphi / motorcraft/ denso etc.. if you need parts let me know.. and if you need a hand working on the car i guaruntee you i will be far cheaper than any shop..

do not and i repeat do not put a reman compressor on your car.. it will bite you in the *** from the word go.. even acdelco realizes they don't work as there is no oversize piston kit avail on the market for the compressor so once they hone the cyl they don't seal worth a ****.. unless they didn't hone the cyl.. then well they shouldn't be remaning compressors..

BlackTransam How far is Apopka from Spring Hill?.... I have someone comming over to look at it this weekend but if that doesnt work out i would be willing to hook up with you to have you look at it an possibly fix it.
