Default Cat delete any codes?

I just purchased a hooker 3" with a electric cut out in the mid pipe. I would love to get some LT on the car but everyones labor quote is over 400$ and I dont want to put that into the car. I was thinking replaceing the cats with straight pipe. WOuld that throw any codes? any suggestions?

there is a thread in the for sale section with a kid asking to buy cheap headers, and there are a few cheap ones in there. If you were close to me I would charge you $100 to put them on

If you are willing to drive down to Miami (32nd street SW 107th Ave, just south of FIU main campus), there's a muffler shop that I've been going to for years that did the exhaust work (That I couldnt do myself for whatever reason) called Castellanos (305-554-8921). In the past when I had him (Ernie is the boss there) weld up my SFCs, I asked him out of curiosity how much it would be if he installed my headers. He told me $250. MIND YOU THOUGH, I'm a super returning customer there lol. But in general terms he is really good with his rates. It would surprise me if he were to ask for more than $300 really. Call him and ask on Monday morning.

Yes you will get 2 codes for doing EITHER headers or straight pipes. The downstream oxygen sensors- no biggie.
