The EGR tube is more than likely broke...can tell right away if it "pops" when you let off under hard throttle.



Good luck with it though, on the positive side...they are pretty darn quick. And strong.

I guess you could say that, but I said one thing another person put their twist on and told someone else and they put their twist on it and the pattern continued and spread like wildfire, then most of my friends wouldn't talk to me, I guess no one is mature enough to go to the sorce and figure **** out. I guess I just get stabed in the back by what I thought were friends oh well. My initial plan was to by a cheaper truck and boat but since I have no use for the vette any more I can just get a biggger boat with the freed up cash!

I've known you and your dad for at least 10 years. You are car guys period. It sounds like you have already made your mind up, but don't be one of those guys that says, "I should have never sold that car". Ford diesels are all over the place, nice looking C4's (LT1 or not ) aren't as available. Don't let others dissuade what you truly are all about...

NOOOO!!! You sold your almost impossible to find Polo Green C4, for a run of the mill Ford Super Duty!

 

Get head studs and egr delete and that will be the most reliable engine you will ever own regardless of what mods you do to it.

Amen! There will always be bitter asshats, no matter what you are into for work, hobby or fun. Try to erase the bad and seek more of the good. Trucks are never a bad deal to own. I finally got one in 2004, and couldn't imagine my life without one (several times it's saved me).

Marcus I hope you reconsider your options here. From what your real friends on here they like your rare, mint, well taken care of Polo green vette. I would keep that thing and do the cam, the LT4 intake and the other things you always talked about.

Don't worry about what other people think about your car. It is what Marcus likes and wants. Not some people that are jealous of what you have and always wanted. Remember you are a early teenager that owned his own Vette. How many people can say that, **** you are the first person that I ever met that did. Keep that the car. I already told you that I would help you in doing anything to it.

I hope you change your mind and put that big as$ cam that you always wanted and join the 10-165 mpg club.

i agree w sean marcus dont listen to *** hats that relish in making drama and being the center of attention. i loved ure vette man it was mint clean and rare. whatever you decide your friends will stand behind you id just hate to see you regret it in the future

 

Update

I counted my chickens before they hatched. The interest rate the bank said the could give me was absolutly insane, as in 15%. First loan I guess. I will be lookin for a truck though because I do want a boat, I will just back down the price of what I am looking for, but for right now I still have the vette, I decieded to splurge on her and buy her some HID lights, should be here thursday, will do a right up for you guys. Also I should be out of school in may and should have a steady job then and I will wait till then for a boat then maybe all of you guys can go out on it with me. Sound good.

its polo green w dark interor. stick shift car w zr1s it has an lt4 in it or its an lt1 w lt4 parts im not sure. nice sounding exhaust. 81000 miles mint interior. targa top. its a nice car hes got a gold c4 there also

 

If it's a '96 it's a true LT4 car. All sticks of that year got 'em.
