Very nice pictures everyone. What was up with the Zr1 with the turbo tag? I wasn't ware that there were any turbo Zr1s out there.
Were any of those Zr1s stock? I'd like to see what they did in comparison to the silver procharged c6.

How does something look awesome for a certain camera? I guarantee that if two identical shots were taken with each camera you wouldnt be able to tell the difference without a 100% crop and even then it would prob be difficult.
Sorry about the rant.
Great pics btw. Ya really got a good representation of the cars attending.
Well said, and thanks!

I had a circular polarizing filter on my lens all day providing me with rich, bright blue skies. Also using off-camera flash for many of the shots.
I shoot in RAW and I use photoshop, yes. : )

Those are some really nice photos. It looks like there was a bunch of big buck rides out there. I also didn't know that you could make those kind of spread sheets with google.

One of my buddies here has built his car with goal #1 of being a monster in the standing mile, and the biggest drawback was that he figured he would have to trailer it to Texas and NC just to run it....until now. To say he is thrilled with this event is an understatement.

Funny thing is, apparently there has been another group holding 'private' events out here for some time now (mostly exotics), so it is entirely possible that it is happening right in your backyard, and you dont even know it.

The main reason I down it is there arent any smaller/private airstrips around. Just Dulles really and there is no way they have any downtime for some fun.
There are some strips out in Fredricksburg and down in southwest that I know of but I never checked in with them for something like this. I was considering a photoshoot at the one near Radford though. They would probably be chill enough to let me out there with some cars and the camera gear.
What kind of car is your buddy gonna run?

I've lived in South Fl. all my life, and never knew that Dade-Collier training strip was there. I have gone down 41 a bunch of times, and never realized it. Then again you wont unless you know its there, or are told its there. Good to know that i live about 30 minutes fromt there.
